In October, our charity partner Perennial hosted their annual festival dinner in which the organisation managed to raise over £30,000! The celebratory fundraising evening with a prize auction and raffle was held in the stunning Whitehall Suite at One Whitehall Place in support of all those working in horticulture.
Talasey were delighted to host a table at the dinner with some of our Designer and Installer Network members. The evening was filled with great networking opportunities, heart-warming stories and celebrity speakers. Fellow supporters came together in support of Perennial's goal, which is to build better futures for people in horticulture and their families.
Perennial (The Gardeners’ Benevolent Institution) was founded in 1839 at an annual dinner for ‘nurserymen, florists and amateurs’. From the outset, the Institution aimed to provide a source of income for gardeners. By the mid 1840s, it was already having a major impact and an annual fundraising dinner was established – The Festival Dinner.
