We’re excited to announce several new appointments and promotions here at Talasey as we continue to drive forward with our ambitious plans for growth and expansion.
Five talented individuals have joined or progressed into key sales and business development roles, helping us strengthen relationships with our valued merchant customers.
We’re also focusing on building stronger links with trade buying groups and shining a spotlight on key products across our brand portfolio—Natural Paving, Vitripiazza, Piranha, Pavetuf, and Luxigraze.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of the news that Aaron Frogley has joined us as our new Sales Director. Mr Frogley is a popular and well-known figure in the merchant and landscaping industries, and we have been widely congratulated on the coup.
Sam Norman has joined us in the role of Business Development Manager with a brief to work across the business to identify opportunities. She brings nearly 15 years of merchant industry experience to the role and is excited by our ambition and the prospect of working with people within the business who are highly regarded in the merchant and landscaping industries.
She said: “I first came across Talasey as a Category Manager for a well-known merchant and have been impressed with the way they operate. It’s also been interesting to watch the way they have grown by playing to their strengths and doing all the right things to support both their merchant customers and the wider landscaping industry.
“I have been amazed by their plans – and the way they intend to approach growth – in the next 3–5 years, and I’m looking forward to playing a part in what will be a real success story.”
We have also rewarded existing talent within our team with two internal promotions. Dean Martin and Ben Westwood are stepping into new roles as Regional Sales Managers for the South and North regions, respectively. Both have demonstrated exceptional experience and leadership within our company and the industry at large and will work closely with Aaron Frogley to manage and support our Area Sales Managers in their regions, driving sales performance and strengthening both new and existing customer relationships.
Formerly an Area Sales Manager, Becky Bryan has rejoined us as a Business Development Manager and has hit the ground running to get a new partner programme up and running in building stronger bonds between ourselves, our merchant customers and the landscaping community.
Matt Yates completes the line-up, taking up a role as a Key Account Manager – having previously worked for a manufacturer of building materials.
Reflecting on the raft of new appointments, Sales Director Aaron Frogley said that 2025 is already shaping up to be a watershed moment in the company’s young history.
“Talasey has been busy recruiting some very talented people and also promoting from within to create a great blend of experience of Talasey and the markets in which we operate – and also bringing experience from other sectors within the construction industry,” said Aaron.
“The number of new appointments in such a short space of time is an exciting prospect for Talasey – and in many ways, it’s part of a coming of age where we’re moving into a new phase of growth for the business.”
