As an industry leader in landscaping solutions, we have always put our customers at the forefront of everything we do, and this has firmly been illustrated with several new customer facing and supporting roles.
The beginning of the year witnessed the launch of our new, six strong Merchant Support Team, on the road enabling increased contact and support for all merchant customers. And now this summer, we have the completion of our new look marketing department.
Headed by industry veteran Rebecca Hughes, the sizeable team is now all in place and ready to take the company to new levels, which will ultimately enhance the service to our valued merchant customers and landscaping sector.
Amy Oades, Marketing Manager – Merchants, is on hand as a main point of contact for all our merchants across the country. With an abundance of industry experience, having clocked up over seven years at Talasey already, she will continue to ensure that we support the branch teams with everything they need from product, POS, offers, event support and much more.
Amy’s role and activity will serve to bolster the marketing support behind our network of Area Sales Managers, Merchant Sales Managers, in-house Customer Engagement and Training team. This will ensure that if a customer has any questions, training needs, sales or marketing support requirements, there will always be someone at the end of the phone or round the corner!
Sam Revill who brings over 16 years of B2C marketing experience with her, joined Talasey in the Spring as Marketing Manager – Trade, is now working hard on new campaigns; targeting homeowners and landscapers, by combining engaging content and event attendance amongst lots more activity - directing them to their local stockists. All in aid of creating marketing touch points to keep Talasey products top of mind when the end user requires landscaping products.
Between Sam and Amy we have dedicated resource to provide marketing support for our merchants, landscapers and homeowners alike, and to stimulate demand for our products that we sell via our merchant network. Supporting this, we have just taken delivery of our second ‘Talasey on Tour’ (TOT) display van. Both will be placed in high traffic garden centres / events throughout the year to gain additional customer traction, in addition to attending merchant trade days and exhibitions.
The newest additions to the team further enhance the marketing offering; Stacey Eaves comes in with over 17 years agency and client-side marketing experience as Digital Marketing Lead to head up all online activity covering Web, SEO, Social Media, digital campaigns and assets along with photography, videography and animation whizz Jordan Buffey (newly appointed Social Content Creator) - who both join familiar face Alex Grant (Digital Marketing Executive) who amongst other things, expertly executes our social media and digital campaign activity.
Finally, supporting the entire team is Lauren Gwynne, the team's new Graphic Designer. Lauren brings with her an abundance of experience in fast paced marketing environments, including the design agency world and has already started working on creative projects that are really getting noticed in the industry.
